Role Overview

The Beauty & Sales Supervisor is responsible for supervising Beauty Advisors and supporting the achievement of sales targets across assigned retail locations. The supervisor monitors sales performance and actively drives the team to achieve sales targets through strong in-store execution, team coaching, and adherence to brand and retail standards.

This is a field-based role that requires regular presence and rotation across assigned retail branches to monitor operations, support Beauty Advisors, and ensure consistent retail execution and customer experience standards.

The role focuses on ensuring a high level of customer experience, operational discipline, and consistent retail excellence across all points of sale.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Performance & Target Achievement

  • Support the achievement of sales targets across assigned retail locations.
  • Monitor daily sales performance & key KPIs including productivity, conversion, and average basket.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions to improve results.
  • Ensure Beauty Advisors actively drive sales and meet expected commercial standards.
  • Monitor sales trends and share insights with management to support business performance.

2. Beauty Advisor Supervision & Team Management

  • Supervise and manage Beauty Advisors across assigned locations.
  • Coordinate BA schedules, attendance, and floor coverage to ensure proper store staffing.
  • Provide continuous coaching and motivation to improve selling skills and productivity.
  • Ensure discipline, professionalism, grooming, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Conduct performance follow-up and address issues in line with company policies.
  • Anticipate staffing needs and support recruitment planning with the PX Department.

3. Customer Experience & Retail Standards

  • Ensure outstanding customer experience across all retail locations.
  • Encourage a customer-centric selling culture among Beauty Advisors.
  • Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve service quality and conversion.
  • Ensure counters consistently reflect SKC luxury brand standards and premium service.

4. In-Store Execution, Inventory & Operations

  • Maintain high counter standards including visual merchandising, hygiene, tester maintenance, and product presentation.
  • Monitor stock availability at counter level and coordinate replenishment with commercial to avoid out-of-stock situations.
  • Support & lead inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock at the counter.
  • Ensure counters are properly organized with all necessary materials and displays.
  • Execute merchandising guidelines aligned with SKC campaigns and product launches.
  • Monitor and ensure strict compliance with company retail policies including tester management, GWP allocation, sample distribution, and sales policies across all counters.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance in-store experience and sales performance.

5. Training & Team Development

  • Lead onboarding and continuous training of Beauty Advisors on product knowledge, selling techniques and upselling, customer experience standards, brand values and messaging, and retail policies and procedures.
  • Ensure Beauty Advisors represent SKC professionally and consistently.

6. Field Supervision & Market Feedback

  • Maintain regular presence across assigned retail locations to monitor operations and team performance.
  • Observe customer interactions and provide coaching when needed.
  • Monitor competitor activities including assortment, pricing, promotions, and launches.
  • Share customer insights and market feedback with management.

7. Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Track KPIs, team productivity, and retail performance.
  • Highlight risks, opportunities, and improvement areas to management.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in retail or beauty industry.
  • Previous experience supervising Beauty Advisors or retail teams.
  • Experience in cosmetics or luxury beauty retail is preferred.
